Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire Wedding | Natasha & Rhys
July has been such a perfect wedding month and it was no different for Natasha and Rhys who were recommended to us by make up artist Beth Goode. The pre wedding meeting established that neither Bride or Groom were that into being the centre of attention on their big day, in a sense they were playing it fairly cool and that respect for the religious aspect, family and celebrating their love for each other were the priorities. The morning started for Sarah in the calm setting of Donovan hair salon very close to the couples home in Blaby. Natasha, her maids and mum were pampered with a full styling of their hair prior to walking the short distance back to the house. The sense of calm remained as the Bride slipped into, with the help her sister, a perfect laced sweetheart bodiced dress (Elizabeth Rose) that brought subtle Celtic styling to the affair enhancing Natasha’s natural beauty. Rhys arrived at St Thomas More R.C Church in Knighton to a warm welcome from his family with best man Ryan following shortly after. Some impromptu flower and tie fitting was followed by some portraits of Groom and Best Man in the residential surroundings of the Church. Keeping Rhys waiting long enough, Natasha arrived in a stylish 1930’s car as the bridal party organised themselves nervously for their march down the aisle. A proud Dad walked his daughter down the aisle to a wedding ceremony delivered by Father ? a close friend of the family. This touch added a very poignant and personal blessing to the nuptials in a busy church. Some group shots and a confetti aisle followed before the wedding moved location to the impressive Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire. This venue is always a pleasure to photograph at and it was no different on this sunny day as wedding guests mingled and played lawn games prior to heading for the wedding breakfast. During dinner the weather change slightly with some intense showers, normally at a wedding this is not a good thing but it brought in a wave of cooler fresh air that secretly pleased everyone! We managed to avoid the worst of the wet to head to the walled garden for some portraits which offered a perfect backdrop for Natasha and Ryan’s love of nature. The evening seamlessly slipped into cake cutting and music which continued the relaxed tone.
Natasha and Ryan thank you for putting your trust in us, it was lovely to spend the day recording your wedding, capturing the moments special to you. You were great to be around and we wish you every happiness for a beautiful future together. xx.
