Getting married on a Monday could be considered the new next big thing; especially when the weather is as perfect as it was for Gemma & George!
They said their ‘I do’s’ in style and in a beaut of an outdoor ceremony at Crockwell Farm, Northamptonshire. The music, setting, sunshine and the stunning bride at the end of the rather long aisle was only matched in terms of drama by the emotions of the groom. Never before have we seen a bride walk down the aisle shaking her head as if to say you are not going to make me cry. Class. It definitely lightened the mood and turned tears into spontaneous laughter.
So many hugs, so much confetti, so many beautiful details all created by the talented bride herself. Much mingling and fun was to be had in the gardens along with the most delicious canapés. Both Bride and Groom had a brilliant squad of girls and boys by their sides who looked stylish from the outset and contributed tons to the fun and friendly atmosphere. It was the first time we had been to Crockwell Farm for a wedding so to be given the chance to explore the beautiful countryside, grounds and quirky working farm backdrops with a dream team of a couple was an honour. The main wedding breakfast consisted of tasty food platters which truly reflected the nature of the day; this was about family, about friends, about sharing. The usual suspects stood up and delivered a series of brilliant speeches before we headed out to chase the golden light as the sun set on this truly delightful day. Day turned to evening and cake cutting swiftly moved on to their first dance and then PARTY!!
One of the best Monday’s we’ve spent in a long long time. A day bursting with love and happiness. Thank you so much Mr & Mrs Simmons for totally trusting us to document your amaze ball wedding day!
