Ettington Park in Stratford upon Avon Wedding | Sian & Anthony

What a wonderfully chilled out yet grand wedding and as always it’s a real privilege to be part of somebody’s nuptial journey. I met Sian and Anthony about a year before their big day for a fun and light-hearted engagement shoot with their beloved camper van Trevor! I knew then that they had a great bond and it was clear to see that as a couple they smile and laugh at so many things. So pleased to see these qualities on their big day too. This day was a long time planning and you could really tell.

The wedding day was based in and around the beautiful grounds of Ettington Park, with both Bride and Groom getting ready on site but in clearly defined and separate parts of the complex. The magnificent Gothic mansion is set in 40 acres of Warwickshire countryside and Sian and Anthony had their fingers crossed for an outdoor ceremony in The Bell Tower.

Sian emerged wearing a fairytale styled dress covered in a cascade of lace alongside shoes to die for; silver delicate straps with a red sole. This styling fitted the location perfectly and bursts of colour punctuated the day with beautifully bright wild flowers lining the red carpet that Sian walked up to meet her man.

With guests seated in the sunshine, the outdoor service proceeded with a harpist, an abundance of tears, lovely readings and the exchange of rings. Walking back up the aisle, husband and wife headed straight into the tiniest chapel for an intimate and personal blessing by Anthony’s sister in law. What followed was confetti (and lots of it), mingling, ice cream, and fun games on the lawn. Stealing Bride, Groom and the Bridal Party away to make the most of the surroundings, had to be done. Check out the brick walls of the Bell Tower! We loved the attention to details that weaved throughout the day; Butterflies everywhere, named rose gold cocktail tables, the sequinned colourful Bridesmaid shoes, and Trevor the camper van belting out “My Girl”. Guests now seated in the cool, dark top floor library enjoyed; speeches, tears, laughter, love, friendship . . . and dinner. We couldn’t resist and were so pleased that after dinner Sian and Anthony agreed to give us a bit more time to photograph them and their beloved camper van. Sneaky feeling they simply enjoyed having those 20 minutes alone together to have one last practise of their amazing first dance. Following the cutting of the cake, a ten piece big band started the music set, cue the first dance and then crikey did the party start!!

Great chemistry and oodles of happiness set the atmosphere; your guests and family were all a joy to be around. Thank you for letting us share that with you. We wish you a lifetime of happiness.
