The Waterfront, Market Harborough Wedding / Gemma + Craig

Gemma + Craig’s big day in November had finally arrived.  We love it when couples stick to doing their wedding day their way and Gemma and Craig had certainly chose to do theirs exactly how they wanted to. Their wedding ceremony was at Market Harborough registry office – which very uniquely is attached to the town library. After an emotional ceremony, the congregation descended a beautiful wooden spiral staircase and out into the bustling streets of Market Harborough to congratulate the newlyweds. One of the main themes of their day was the unique transport, the couples adored Landrover that Craig had renovated. The wedding day was to be the first proper outing for it not only transporting Gemma to the registry office but driving the couple off as husband and wife to the reception. Of course we made the most of the opportunity to interrupt this journey and go on a little adventure. Finding a lovely bit of open land alongside a rustic disused barn building was just perfect for a few pictures of the two of them (plus Landrover!). Gemma looking stunning in a delicate lace dress, pinned back rolled hair and red lips. Freezing but smiling and laughing all the way through, Gemma looked the picture of happiness as her proud man cuddled her tight in the back of the Landrover.

Guests patiently waited outside the reception for the arrival of the Bride and Groom. The Waterfront is a beautiful little restaurant set on the edge of the canal, with barges moored up outside. As the place of their first date, you could see just how much Craig and Gemma loved it and the day proceeded with a warm, cosy and intimate energy. In the evening, the venue was transformed from a dining area to a dance floor effortlessly and with dusk upon us we went out for a stroll, some very fresh air and another opportunity for time out and pictures.

Together you two are beautiful and strong a brilliant couple that really compliment each other. It was truly an honour to be part of your special day. We wish you a lifetime of happiness! xx
