These two met 7 years ago as students at the University of Nottingham. So when it came to a location for their pre wedding shoot, the grounds of the idyllic University Park campus was a perfect choice. Straight away I could see that Becky and Ryan were going to be a very relaxed couple to spend a couple of hours as we explored the greenery around the attractive lake. The highlight for me had to be the stepping stones, a beautifully tranquil area set to the backdrop of a waterfall. We had the area totally to ourselves for a space of about 5 minutes just at the time when the sun suddenly shone; it felt so peaceful watching them hand in hand stepping across the stones. Their love of music is one of the things that brought them together so when Ryan announced that he had his guitar in the boot, I let out a whoop! Blossom on the trees, two young people in love and music = perfection.

You both have a gorgeous chemistry and Becky you are so much fun to photograph with your infectious smile! Thanks for introducing me to the gorgeous grounds of an area that was a massive part of your lives. Bring on the next chapter in August, can’t wait! Xx.
