Oh my goodness, what a great Easter time we’ve had. Lovely hours spent with friends and family, eating far too much gorgeous food and before all that, a quick sneaky trip away to Rome for the Way Up North wedding photography conference. Now we are back in the office, feeling inspired and raring for our wedding season to begin.

I met with Lucy and Kulvinder, who are getting married in two weeks, for a sunny spring engagement shoot. Not only one, but two ceremonies are taking place over consecutive weekends. Up until now, we had only spoke over email and phone, so I was looking forward to finally meeting these two in Hampton-upon-Ardon, the location of their civil ceremony. When I first pulled in to the pub car park and saw Lucy and Kulvinder playing with Rocky, their dog, I knew it was going to be a fun-packed engagement shoot. I always look forward to this time of year, with the spring-like sunshine and the pinkness of the blossom and this beautiful engagement session didn’t disappoint. There were lots of hugs and cuddles in the bracing wind, finishing up in the calmness of the sheltered pub.

I can’t wait to be part of your two special days in May. Your fun-hearted, warm personalities were evident in the sunlight and your love for your furry four-legged friend Rocky, as well as each other, was immense.
