It was so great to meet up with Katie and Jonathan, who get married later this month.

We’d chosen to meet at Elvaston Castle on a warm evening when the light was gorgeous and the location tranquil. Exploring the grounds, we chatted, wandered, and clambered over rocks and tree trunks. We even got photo bombed by a horse and found a couple of quirky cute little buildings to use as a backdrop. Extremely chilled and relaxed in each other’s company, Katie and Jonathan were a joy to photograph. I could’ve photographed them until sunset but the impending closure of the car park and Jonathan’s hunger pains brought the shoot to an end!
