I met this couple at Thornton Reservoir in Leicestershire for their pre wedding shoot, on an evening where the weather had been predicted to be bad. We were so close to cancelling but thankfully we didn’t.  Sally and Nick both arrived on their bikes and in leathers.  Blessed with gorgeous evening sunshine we chose to jump on the bikes and find an open road where the sunlight would be on us. It was great to have the use of the bikes as props, however, up until now I didn’t realise how heavy and tricky they are to manoeuvre. We did manage to make it back to Thornton Reservoir to ditch the bikes and just concentrate on bride and groom to be, just before we lost the light totally.

Sally and Nick thank you for meeting me that evening and chasing around the Leicestershire roads looking for the right backdrop! Hopefully you’ll agree it was worth it. Fab to get to know you both that little bit more, just in time for your wedding day this weekend. Can’t wait! xx
