Keythorpe Manor in Leicestershire Wedding | Jessica & Matt

All weddings are a happy, special and memorable time for the happy couple. Jessica and Matt's day at Keythorpe Manor was all these things with extra specialness provided by their son Noah. It was his day too! During Jessica's personal vows we found out that the number 12 holds a special significance for the couple, needless to say, the 12th May was chosen to tie the knot.

The shoes from Ted Baker, and THE dress by RS Bridal collection were stunning and just added that extra wow to Jessica's beautiful glam look; all styled wonderfully by Rachel Linney with a flawless floral bouquet by Sophie's Flower Company. Jessica, her bridesmaids, flower girl, and Noah got ready in the calm and gorgeous setting of Jessica's dad's home in Rutland. Jessica had delivered hand written scroll letters (Inviting Writing) to the special men in her life, her husband to be and her dad.

Matt and his groom’s team readied themselves at the couples home in Melton Mowbray. With no fuss the boys polished up nicely, donning smart blue suits, waistcoats and matching socks. All the small details thought about! Having recorded this transformation, we were really grateful that the lads were happy to make a short drive round the corner to use the really interesting railway bridge and surrounding area as a backdrop.

Noah with flower girl on his arm walked down the aisle of The Old Barn at Keythorpe proudly showing off a sign declaring a special message to his Dad. He nearly stole the show when standing side by side with his mum and dad he asks“ Daddy . . .Where are you sitting?". The ceremony was personal, emotional and light hearted. Noah successfully delivered the rings and the ceremony was sealed with the three of them lighting a love candle. Magical.

Confetti, champagne, a bit of a mingle and games on the lawn. Jessica and Matt joined us for a bit of time out in the stunning surroundings of Keythorpe. Absolutely beautiful to work with, we ventured into private gardens and then on to see and feed the dear (thanks Krish at Keythorpe). How wonderfully happy Jessica and Matt looked together.

The day continued back at The Old Barn with delicious food being served by the fabulous Whites Fine Food and live music by Ant MacAndrew. During courses unbeknown to Jessica and Matt, the Best Singing Waiter delivered a series of songs and get up and dance party tricks. The room went mental, napkins waving in the air, air guitar and conga around the room; so much fun! With the atmosphere nicely set, the father of the bride delivered his speech standing on a chair with hilarious hand written signs to complement the spoken word. Whilst all this was going on inside the barn, the heavens had opened up outside. Heading back out for more portraits and group shots just got trickier! Undeterred with umbrellas at the ready, Jessica and Matt just got on with it. That ‘can do’ attitude always helps and we improvised using umbrellas, the marquee and some shelter provided by an arch. These shots under the arch with the light diminishing turned out to be some of our favourites, there is a sublime painterly quality to them.

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Wallace (and Noah) for making our day. We loved photographing and being part of it all, the styling of the bridal party, the lengths that you and your guests went to to help us, the singing waiter, the gorgeous food, the personal vows, the number 12, and the very amusing speeches . . . . We have to say it was one fab day! Everybody, and most importantly you two, looked like they were having a great time!

Lots of love to all three of you xxx
