Jess and Wayne’s wedding, well what can we say, magic. Their whole fabulous day was set in and around the beautiful modern grounds of Mythe Barn. Little bits of specialness were dotted around the venue, with huge balloons outside the door, polaroid pics of the happy couple over the years pegged up and a graphic timetable of the day. It was bank holiday Sunday at the end of August, everybody knows that the weather on a bank holiday can be a bit hit and miss, but this day was kind to us. Jess, in all her glorious petiteness, looked amazing in her Pronovias ruffled dress and to die for Jimmy Choo’s. Waiting nervously with his two best men looking dapper in their pale blue contemporary suits, the intensity of the day had all added to Waynes anticipation of seeing his beautiful bride. Emotional. As I’ve edited through this part of the wedding day, it has brought me close to tears again!
Clearly friends mean the world to both Jess and Wayne. You could see this early on in the day with both of them having a large team to support them through; the girls looking particular gorgeous in Eliza and Ethan (twist it, knot it, multi wrap) dresses from Divine Boutique. We shot some images of them all in the field opposite Mythe Barn. Being the city girl I am, I think I forgot to close the gate. Marco my lovely husband and the chefs ended up chasing sheep back in. Sorry.
It was lovely to stray from the venue with the happy Bride and Groom and a couple of big balloons; always nice to give the couple this bit of space and time. Lively speeches and dinner followed and just as they were waiting for dessert, a stream of golden sunshine peaked out from the clouds. It was crazy not to make the most of it. Thank you Jess and Wayne for playing ball.
An absolute delight to be involved in your wedding day. There was such a beautiful buzz from the two of you and your guests. It was fab to feel so welcome. Special thanks to Mythe Barn for yet another delicious dinner. Mr and Mrs Turvey we wish you the most fantastic married life together xx
